Yoga love is a community based, ohana style yoga studio. It is built to honor our local yoga teachers and building deeper connection within our community. Yoga instructors never get enough credit for the service we are providing. Here in Yoga Love, we highly appreciate our fellow teachers, who have been generously holding space for our healing and transformation. Yoga Love existed under the pressure of 2020, with the mission to build a stronger community by cultivating wellness, trust and support which would bring deeper healing into our community. Yoga Love is a place to go for everyone to feel belong. We welcome all ages, genders, races and experiences. We want everyone to feel accepted. We are big supporters of women empowerment.
The story started when lock down was activated in march 2020. Before Yoga Love was even existed, the owner of Yoga Love studio, who was also an instructor spent her days practicing, locking herself in a heated room, burning away her worries and fears. The practice was her only tool to wash away the darkness at the time. Through her personal practice during that shadow period, she received the call to create a sacred container for the practice to flourish.
This is how Yoga Love was created. Fed by the fire and intensity, just within 3 months, and a lifelong dream, the studio came to an existence.
With practically just enough sustenance to start this studio, risk was taken to follow the call.
Here we are, let's sweat the bullshit and keep showing up!
I wanna live kindly, lightly, joyfully and peacefully. I know it isn't realistic to expect that constantly, but I do believe planting the intention is the first step to get there. Aside from being a dreamer and a doer, I love to enjoy the simplest things in life. I was taking communication and graphic design through college and realized my life didn't feel whole. So I spent my last dollar to move to Kona. My soul is happier in the sun and by the ocean. I found Yoga here in the Big Island. Took 200 hours teacher training through Mukti Yoga in 2010 and have been teaching ever since. In the midst of finding a purpose and roots, here I am paradise living 18 years later, building a sacred space for our community practice. My heart is full. My classes are high energy, spiritual and heart longing. Together we will own our authenticity in the most genuine and honest way. Life is a practice and we learn how to handle our approach in life through exploring our inner GPS. The reason why I care about our healing and wellbeing is because our presence in life creates an effect to everyone we come in contact with. Let's ripple a healthier and more positive vibe, without the spiritual by passing. ALOHA.
Next to the 200 hrs YTT, Tika is certified in Buti, Sculpt and sound therapy.
My yoga journey began at 19 when I took my first yoga class at community college and loved it! I’ve been practicing ever since. It wasn’t until I moved to the Big Island that I discovered Buddhi yoga, fell even deeper in love with the practice and became an instructor. Buddhi yoga combines vinyasa with dynamic movement, dance, twerking and bursts of cardio set to the beat of an ever changing playlist for a full body, mind and soul strengthening workout! Whether it’s Buddhi or a more traditional yoga class, I want my students to have fun, feel at home in their bodies and leave class feeling strong and empowered. I received my Buddhi yoga teacher training from founder, Jen Liming in August of 2019. I received my 200 hour YTT certificate from Stacey Lanterman at Hawaiian Healing Yoga in November of 2020.
“My potential is limitless and I choose where to spend my energy.”
Hi, I'm Morgan.
I first discovered yoga, specifically hot vinyasa, while I was recovering from a severe back injury in 2011. Although I was seeking physical healing when I discovered the practice, I could not have imagined the multi-level positive effect it would have on my mind, heart, and entire life in general; those effects are what keep me going and fuel my desire to teach, learn, and share. My classes are dynamic, strong, full of movement, and the freedom to choose. I will encourage you to find your edge physically and work with it using the power of your breath and presence of mind. I intend for you to leave my class grounded and empowered. About a year after my first yoga class, I enrolled in a 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training and was blessed to be exposed to the depth of self care and philosophy that are at the heart of the practice. In 2014, I continued my education attending a 300-hr Power Vinyasa training in Bali. In the following years, I was the assistant teacher of two 200-hour teacher trainings, one in Canada and one in Costa Rica. I often think of the Nietzsche quote, “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”, as an inspiration for living out loud with a wide sense of compassion <3 Come join me on your mat at Yoga Love!

Practicing 10 yrs & counting ✨
Teaching 5 yrs & counting ✨
Practicing and teaching yoga has been an incredible gift and ever-unfolding journey towards a flow state of being. Yoga has opened windows to peace, clarity, authenticity, power, reflection, movement and more, a truly endless list of connection between body, mind, spirit and soul.
As a teacher I aim to incorporate the beautiful balance yoga provides of strength and challenge with grace and surrender to cultivate growth in every sense of the word.
My teaching style will have us vibin' to sweet beats & seamlessly work-out as much as we work-in. I love to flow and move around the mat through safe, dynamic and creative sequences. You'll hear a good amount of sanskrit along with verbal cues to help students deepen their awareness and understanding of alignment in asanas.
Breathe & be, trust the journey.
Excited to spread Aloha & yoga together 🙏
“The wound is the place where the light enters you.”
In 2014, on the brink of a tumultuous break up and struggling with a recent diagnosis of endometriosis, I also found yoga.
As my grip tightened in an effort to control everything around me, yoga simultaneously showed me the power of letting go.
Throughout the years, my practice has gone through many phases, but I eventually always find myself coming back to the bliss I find on my mat.
After getting my buddhi and buti certifications in 2021, I decided to further my education and completed my 200 hour RYT with My Vinyasa Practice in 2022.
Whether it’s buti or a vinyasa flow, my intention is the same: that you leave my class with newfound power, presence and peace.
Hannah was drawn to the healing powers of Yoga in her early 20’s. With a regular yoga practice over the course of a couple years, she noticed a stronger connection to her spiritual, emotional and physical body and wanted to learn more.
She completed a 200 HR RYT in 2015 under the Teachings of Sharon Manner, founder of Samadhi Sun Yoga School and Ashrams for Autism. Opening her heart and deepening her practice through this training, Hannah realized how beneficial Yoga can be for any body type, age, physical/mental ability and so on.
Following completion of her 200 HR YTT certification Hannah took the Samadhi Spectrum continuing education 50 HR course and specializes in teaching yoga for ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
Wether she is teaching a powerful vinyasa, soothing restorative or autism spectrum class, Hannah is grateful to spread her knowledge of yoga from the heart with kindness and compassion for all beings.
